Newry and Armagh TUV spokesperson Keith Ratcliffe has called the temporary removal of stroke services from Daisy Hill Hospital detrimental to the local community.
TUV Newry and Armagh spokesperson Keith Ratcliffe said:
“This is yet another example of services at Daisy Hill being run down. People know from bitter experience that “temporary” movement of services is all too often code for the permanent stripping out of a vital service.”
“When it comes to the issue of strokes, one of the most vital issues is speed. I cannot see how removing services from Daisy Hill can be anything other than a detrimental move for local people”.
