Sinn Féin councillor Mickey Larkin has welcomed the upgrade of the electricity network in Forest Park, Dromintee.
The Slieve Gullion councillor said:
“This upgrade includes the replacement of transformers, sub-stations, poles and the undergrounding of a number of overhead cables.
“I have been working with the residents of Forest Park and NIE on this issue for many years and I’m delighted to see this work now completed after previously being delayed by the pandemic.
“I would like to thank everyone involved in helping deliver this project for the local residents in Dromintee.
