Derrybeg Community Association have condemned outside Anti-Community elements for being behind a serious incident in the estate over the weekend.
Speaking from the Derrybeg community centre, local community worker and secretary of the local community association Stephen Murney said “The perpetrators responsible for this reckless act were not from this area but nonetheless they caused nothing but destruction to our community.
“This is a strong, close-knit area and no doubt the residents will rally round and support those who unfortunately had their property damaged.”
The community representative concluded “The good, decent people of Derrybeg will stand firm against anti-community activity as they always have.”
