Police are investigating a number of incidents in which criminal damage has been caused to Translink buses several times as they pass through Kilcoo.
The incidents happen at roughly 9.30pm each time. Items are thrown at the bus causing damage, so far at a total cost of approximately £5000. This puts the driver and passengers at serious risk of harm and its totally unacceptable. It isn’t big and it isn’t clever.
We would appeal for any witnesses or information that could identify the culprits to contact us on 101. If you travel that road at that time and have a dashcam we would like to hear from you too. Police reference number is 1296 of 18/11/2022.
