Alliance MLA Eóin Tennyson has called on Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Council to reopen Solitude play park in Banbridge as soon as possible. The play park has been closed since the 22nd of August due to extensive damage to the impact surface and broken trampoline.
Mr Tennyson has said, “A number of Banbridge families have been in contact with Alliance representatives to express their disappointment on the continued closure of the play park in Solitude Park, Banbridge.
“I have been informed by officers in Council that contractors have been organised to remedy the issues relating to the impact surface and trampoline and it is estimated that the play park will be reopened in the next two weeks. I have encouraged Council to ensure the play park is open as soon as possible following the completion of the repairs.”
