“After months of lobbying DfI I am relieved to be informed an assessment has been carried out and priority has been given to Kingsmills Primary School.

‘I was contact by a parent who expressed concern for the children’s safety at drop off and pick up times of the day.”

“Rural schools play a vital role in our children’s education it is essential the children and parents are safe during this time. I am grateful to Dept for Infrastructure for their work on this issue.

Whilst we are still awaiting news of Kingsmills being included in the 20mph limit school safety scheme, we have had confirmation that it is a priority for the scheme.

I will continue to lobby for schools in the area to be made priority and welcome engagement with any school who wishes to make safety a priority & be part of the scheme just get in touch via our facebook page or email jackie.coade@alliancepartyni.org
