DUP to Announce Potential Resignation From First Minister Role

According to the BBC’s Nolan show this morning. The DUP are to announce the resignation of Paul Givan from the role of First Minister.

As with current legislation this resignation would automatically trigger the resignation of the Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neil.

The move has raised questions over legislation, bills needing passed through the Executive and remaining Covid 19 restrictions.

We await the DUP announcement.
