Sinn Féin Councillor, Barra Ó Muirí has said that local people are shocked following an incident recently when a shooting took place in Trainor Crescent in Creggan.
The Slieve Gullion Councillor said:
“On Wednesday night there was a shooting incident near homes in Trainor Crescent in the Creggan area.
“There is absolutely no place in our community for these type of acts or for those involved in these deplorable activities.
“The police are currently looking into this incident and I encourage anyone with information to come forward.”
