Sinn Féin MLA John O’Dowd has welcomed the announcement of a £20.5 million new school build at New-Bridge Integrated College, Loughbrickland.
The Upper Bann spokesperson and former Education Minister said: “The news that New-Bridge will be undergoing a significant refurbishment is exciting for the staff, pupils and families associated with the College.
As a previous Education Minister I supported significant investment in the College and it is very welcome to see the next phase of the schools journey progress
Students will be able to enjoy state of the art facilities, and this will also provide an attractive option for parents in Upper Bann when choosing where to send their children for post-primary education.
I will continue to lobby on behalf of other schools in Banbridge and across Upper Bann for much needed investment in their buildings.”
