Police in Newry are appealing for information following a report of a burglary at business premises at the Monaghan Street area on Saturday 13th November.
Detective Sergeant Ritchie said: “Sometime between 5:05am and 5:20am, it was reported that three males got out of a black Audi A4 car and smashed the front window of a barber shop in the area with a breeze block. One male then enters the property and took a sum of money. The vehicle then leaves driving towards the Patrick Street area following the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident, is asked to detectives on 101 quoting reference number 357 13/11/21.
