A Hilltown man who attempted to have diazepam, pregabalin and cannabis delivered to him by royal mail has been handed a suspended prison sentence.
Ronan Martin Shields, of Carquillan Court, Hilltown pleaded guilty to possession of Class B, attempted possession of Class B and two counts of attempted possession of Class C at Newry Courthouse.
Shields was sentenced to three months in prison suspended for a period of 12 months.
