Police have charged a man to court following an arrest in the Drumlin Walk area of Warrenpoint on Sunday night, 14th June.
The 40-year-old was charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
He is due to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 8th July.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
