TUV leader Jim Allister has expressed dismay at the handling of today’s Drumcree JR.
“The politicking of the judge and resort to the language of Sinn Fein opponents of the parade in talking in terms of “the abyss”, is not what I expect from an independent judiciary.
“Nor, would I expect a judge to try and bounce a party into a course adverse to their interests and then punish them when they rightly stand their ground.
“I trust the Court of Appeal will rectify the situation.”
