Detectives in Banbridge are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of an assault on Saturday, 19th September.
Police received a report just before 7.30pm that a man in the Brookfield Meadows area of the town had been dragged from his vehicle by a number of masked men, before being kicked and punched multiple times.
Officers attended the scene, along with colleagues from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the injured man, who sustained a number of injuries to his face, arms and legs, was taken to hospital for treatment.
