A man arrested following an armed robbery at commercial premises in Main Street, Newcastle on Sunday 31st May, has been charged to court.
The man, aged 40, has been charged with robbery and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and is expected to appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court on Tuesday 2nd June.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
