Sinn Féin MLA Liz Kimmins has congratulated Armagh GAA following yesterday’s victory over Monaghan in the Ulster Championship Final.
The Newry and Armagh MLA said:
“Armagh gave us another memorable day yesterday as they overcame Monaghan to clinch the Ulster title for the first time since 2008.
“I want to congratulate Kieran, the players and the backroom staff on a fantastic victory.
“The atmosphere in Clones was electric and reflected the incredible momentum behind this Armagh team.
“The GAA is at the heart of community life, enriching our culture, providing young people with positive role models and giving us all an unbeatable sense of pride and belonging.
“I wish the entire squad every success as they progress into the All-Ireland Championship.”
