From Derrynoose County Armagh, Brackley Candles are hand poured using rapeseed with coconut natural wax blend. This wax is blended in Europe and is made from rapeseed oil and coconut oil and nothing else. It is completely free from paraffin, soy, palm, beeswax and synthetic additives.
Speaking to Clanrye News and Sport the company said:
“Vegan scents are used to make a wide range of designer candle fragrances as well as festive and popular fragrances. I only buy ethically sourced fragrances and all of the candle fragrance oils are not tested on animals. They are also paraben free and are suitable for vegans.”
The company name holds a special place in the hearts of those involved with the candle making company.
They added:
“Let me explain about the name. Brackley Candles. Presently that’s where I live in the town land of Brackley. Growing up I spent all my summers and weekends in Derrynoose (Brackley) at my Granda’s house.
It was heaven on earth. As the years went by and my Granda’s house in Brackley was condemned he had to move to Keady to the Glen View Gardens with our Uncle Pat. Years later Granda’s son Sean (RIP) renovated “The Cottage “ to a lovely family home. Now I live across the road!”
“So how could I not dedicate my new home business to my Granda Pat Kelly who always said Brackley was home. May God rest your soul Granda. So I’m pleased that the name Brackley will live on.”
