Sinn Féin MP Mickey Brady has said that the loss of 180 jobs at Norbrook will be a huge blow to families across Newry and Armagh.
The Newry/Armagh MP said:
“Reports of 180 job losses at Norbrook in Newry is a huge blow for workers and families and the local economy.
“Norbrook is a huge employer in the local area and the impact of this decision will be felt right across the community.
“I have requested an urgent meeting with Norbrook following this news.
“It’s vital that workers are kept fully informed throughout the process.”
