A Big Screen King’s Coronation event is taking place in Bessbrook Town Hall on Saturday 6 May.
Everyone is welcome from 10.30am to view the festivities on the Big Screen. The screening will be followed by some refreshments and family entertainment.
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council’s Slieve Gullion District Electoral Area Forum received funding from the Northern Ireland Office to host the King Charles III Coronation event.
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson, Cllr Michael Savage said, “The Council is delighted to receive this funding to enable residents to celebrate the occasion of the Coronation at Bessbrook Town Hall.
“This will be a family friendly day to enjoy and is a free event for all residents across the Council district.”
