The Republican Party Saoradh have announced details of their 2023 Easter Commemoration in Newry.
Announcing the details from the party’s Newry office local Saoradh representative Cliodhna McCool said “On Easter Saturday we will honour those that gave their lives for a Socialist Republic, for social and economic liberty.
“We will honour Ireland’s patriot dead and rededicate ourselves to the ongoing Republican liberation struggle in a fitting and dignified fashion.”
Urging Republicans to attend the commemoration Cliodhna continued “Assemble at St Mary’s Church on Easter Saturday at 12 noon where we will then make our way to the Republican Plot to pay tribute to all those who have fought, died and assisted in the cause of Irish Freedom in every generation.”
