A number of Newry based charities and social enterprises have been recognised at the CO3 Leadership Awards. The Annual CO3 Awards in the Europa in Belfast celebrate outstanding leadership across the third sector in Northern Ireland.

Jacinta Linden, CEO, Bolster Community who were ‘Highly Commended’ for their work with Women’s TEC in the ‘Team Up and Save the Day’ Category.
Eileen Murphy, CEO Women’s Aid Armagh Down (WAAD) who was Highly Commended in the main award of the evening, the ‘Inspiring Leader’ award for her 20 years of dedication leading Women’s Aid Armagh Down.
Colleen Tinnelly Dowdall is also pictured after picking up her award for ‘Leading Organisational Change’ in her role with the USPCA; while Eamonn Connolly, Manager of Newry BID was Highly Commended in a hotly contested category ‘Trustee of the Year’ for his work as a Trustee of Bolster Community.
