Sinn Féin councillor, Bróna Haughey has said that the severe flooding issues on the Annvale road need to be resolved as a matter of urgency.
The Cusher councillor said:
“The recent flooding in the Annvale road area has caused serious damage to the road into Keady Glen, resulting in its closure.
“I am working with DFI and all other agencies to establish who has responsibility for the area that continues to flood, and for work to be carried out as soon as possible to rectify this.
“It’s important that this issue is tackled to prevent such extensive damage as this being caused to the road again.
“I will continue to press for this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.”
