Police investigating a report of a robbery at licensed premises at Killycomain Road in Portadown on Saturday evening, January 7th, have charged a 19-year-old man with robbery.
He is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Friday 3rd February.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Police have arrested a man in relation to a report of a robbery at licensed premises at Killycomain Road in Portadown yesterday evening, Saturday 7th January.
Inspector Mills said: “Shortly after 7.30pm, it was reported that a man had entered the premises and assaulted a female staff member, before making off on foot with a sum of cash from the till.
“A 19-year-old male was located a short time later and arrested on suspicion of robbery.
“Enquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have any information which could assist us, to get in touch.
“The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 1498 of 07/01/23.”
