Tennyson and Long visit Pretty N Pink Charity Hub

Upper Bann MLA Eóin Tennyson and Alliance Party Leader Naomi Long MLA paid a visit to Pretty n Pink’s new hub in Portadown this week (Thursday).

Pretty N Pink is Northern Ireland’s only registered Breast Cancer Charity and provides support for people who have received the life-changing diagnosis of breast cancer, helping them navigate the treatment and support the families, many with financial support from the Pretty ‘n’ Pink Support Fund.

Speaking after the visit, Mr Tennyson said, “It was an absolute privilege to welcome Pretty N Pink to Portadown alongside our party leader Naomi Long.

“The charity and its volunteers do such incredible and inspiring work supporting people who have received life-changing breast cancer diagnoses and their families, helping them to navigate treatment and support, including with financial support from the Pretty ‘n’ Pink Support Fund.

“I am so grateful to Director Leanne Rooney for taking the time to engage with Alliance to talk through Pretty ‘n’ Pink’s plans for the future. I pay tribute to all of the charity’s volunteers on the successful opening of their new location in Portadown, and to the wider community for rallying behind this important new endeavour.”
