Man Attacked in Newry Assault

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Newry on Saturday, 1st October 2022.

Detective Sergeant McCarragher said: “At approximately 1.15am, CCTV footage recorded a man being attacked in the John Mitchel Place area of the city.”

“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, have any information in relation to it or who may have any relevant footage that could help detectives with our investigation, to get in touch on 101, quoting reference number 1566 03/10/22.”
