Police can confirm that a man, aged in his fifties, has died following a fire in the Stream Street area of Newry around 8.20pm on Monday, September 12.
Officers attended, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service who extinguished the blaze.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
