The MET office for Northern Ireland spoke to Clanrye News and Sport regarding the potentially hot weather predicted for the next few days, they said:
Friday Evening and Night:
A few light showers early evening, but most staying dry with good late sunshine, then clear periods. Some mist and fog patches may form towards dawn. Minimum temperature 11 °C.
Saturday:
Generally dry with a mix of sunny spells and high cloud. Temperatures lifting into low 20’s again for many. However some showers later, chiefly around the north coast. Maximum temperature 22 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Mostly dry and increasingly sunny. Afternoon highest lifting day by day, particularly across southern and eastern areas, with some chance of breaking the all time temperature record on Tuesday.
