Rosario’s husband Con, Sister Catherine, Brother Leonard and their families wish to express our sincere gratitude to all our extended family, friends and neighbours for all their help and support shown to us during our recent bereavement.
We’d like to thank all those who sent cards, messages, brought gifts and sent flowers, called at her home and attended Rosario’s funeral. A special word of thanks to our family and friends who helped at the house.
To the Doctors, nurses and staff of Clanrye Medical Practice thank you for always attending and looking after Rosario. A special word of thanks to the paramedic and ambulance staff Aidan, Kate and Declan who attended Rosario.
Our sincere thanks to McGennity Funeral Directors, Patrick, Jacqueline and Paddy for the professional, dignified and personal manner in which the funeral was carried out and for their support and guidance given to our family and also Martin and Noel Murphy for preparing Rosario’s resting place.
Thanks to Fr Alphonsus for conducting Rosario’s requiem mass, to Anna Maria Boyle for her beautiful signing and Eoin Hannaway for his musical accompaniment which made the mass so personal to the family.
To Pipe Major Pádraig Rooney from St Joseph’s Pipe Band, Longstone for his beautiful music while accompanying the funeral and at the graveside. We’d like to thank most sincerely Newry Sinn Féin for assisting the family with arrangements and for providing a Guard of Honour for the funeral cortege which accompanied Rosario on her final journey.
To management and staff of Parkview Provisions Ltd for all their help and for providing a Guard of Honour at St. Mary’s Church.

Rosario’s month’s mind mass will be held on Friday 8th July at 7.30pm at St. Catherine’s Church (Dominican) Newry.
