Finnegan Keen to Deliver Real Change as Deputy Chair of Council

Sinn Féin councillor Aoife Finnegan has said she is keen to deliver real and progressive change to workers and families across the district.

The Slieve Gullion councillor said:

“I’m delighted to be selected by the Sinn Féin team for this role as Deputy Chair of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and I’m honoured to accept this role.

“I would like to thank Cllr. Oonagh Magennis for her services as Deputy Chair last year along with Cathy Mason and Cllr Michael Rice for their work as Chairs of council.

“It is my intention to pick up where my predecessors left off in working to deliver real change to all communities across South Armagh, Newry and South Armagh.

“There’s much work to be done and I look forward to working with my Sinn Féin colleagues as well as working with other parties to deliver this change and to stand up for workers and families across the district.
