Police Appeal Following South Armagh Burglaries

Detectives are appealing for information following a spate of burglaries at residential premises in the South Armagh area.

Detective Sergeant Ritchie said: “Sometime between 8pm on Wednesday 17th November and 7:45am on Thursday 18th November, it was reported entry was gained to a house in the Monog Road area of Crossmaglen. It was reported that clothing and jewellery was taken and the property was ransacked during the incident.

“Sometime between 7pm on Wednesday 17th November and 9am on Thursday 18th November, it was reported entry was gained to two houses located at the Ballsmill Road area of Crossmaglen. Both properties were ransacked and it was reported that clothing and jewellery was taken.

“Enquiries are continuing and at this stage, we are investigating a potential link between all three incidents.

“We are appealing for anyone with any information in relation to these incidents to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 262 18/11/21.
