Police received a report of an incident at the Newry Street area of Rathfriland on Friday 17th September.
Chief Inspector Michael McDonald said: “At around 8:40pm, it was reported that a black Seat Leon failed to stop for police and drove into a band parade in the area. One man in his 40s and one man in his 30s received minor injuries as the vehicle drove off following the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and police would appeal to anyone with any information to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1633 17/09/21.
