A local Tae Kwon Do club is excited about its reopening following the easing of Covid 19 restrictions. It has been a rocky year to say the least for the local martial arts club but now that the Executive has eased restrictions regarding indoor sports, it comes as a welcome relief for club owner Cathal Fegan.
Owner Cathal Fegan said:
“After six months with the Dojang doors closed it was great to open the shutters and get some light back into the club. Our first night training Taekwondo was last Tuesday and there was a great buzz about the club, the sun was shining in the doors, all the students smiling and laughing all delighted to be back doing what they love. Now with the lockdown easing throughout the country and restrictions lifting we can work towards new belts, competitions and improving our skills.”
If you want to join Cathal and the team you can attend the club in Newry as follows:
Beginner’s classes every Tuesday and Thursday
5:15pm little ninjas 4-7 years
6pm beginner kids 8-12 years
There are also classes available in Silverbridge, Newtownhamilton and Louth village.
