Clanrye Connect – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of Clanrye Connect, the jobs platform operated through Clanrye News. By submitting a job vacancy, creating an employer account or otherwise using Clanrye Connect, you agree to these terms.
1. About Clanrye Connect
Clanrye Connect provides an online platform through which employers and organisations can advertise employment opportunities and jobseekers can search for vacancies.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Clanrye Connect is not the employer and does not participate in the recruitment or selection process between an employer and an applicant.
2. Employer Accounts
Employers may be required to create an account before submitting a vacancy.
Employers are responsible for ensuring that the information associated with their account is accurate and for keeping their login details secure.
Accounts must not be used to impersonate another individual, business or organisation.
3. Job Advertisements
Anyone submitting a vacancy must ensure that:
- the vacancy is genuine and currently available;
- the employer has authority to advertise the position;
- information contained in the advertisement is accurate and not misleading;
- salary, hours, location and employment arrangements are accurately described where provided;
- the advertisement complies with applicable employment, equality and other relevant laws; and
- application contact details or links are genuine and controlled or authorised by the employer.
4. Prohibited Listings
Clanrye Connect must not be used to advertise fraudulent, misleading or unlawful opportunities.
We may refuse or remove advertisements that we reasonably believe involve scams, misleading claims, unlawful discrimination, inappropriate content, illegal activity, pyramid-style schemes or opportunities which otherwise present a risk to users.
5. Approval and Moderation
Job advertisements may require approval before appearing publicly on Clanrye Connect.
We reserve the right to reject, edit, suspend or remove a listing where reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain the quality of the service, comply with legal obligations or enforce these Terms & Conditions.
Approval of an advertisement does not constitute endorsement or verification of the employer or vacancy by Clanrye Connect.
6. Applications and Recruitment
Applications may be directed to an email address or external website supplied by the employer.
Employers are responsible for their own recruitment processes, including communicating with applicants, interviewing, selection, employment checks and complying with employment and data-protection obligations.
Clanrye Connect does not guarantee that an advertisement will receive applications or result in a successful appointment.
7. Jobseekers
Jobseekers should satisfy themselves that an employer and vacancy are genuine before providing personal information or accepting employment.
Clanrye Connect does not guarantee the accuracy of information supplied by third-party employers.
Users should never send money or disclose financial information merely to apply for a vacancy. Suspicious advertisements should be reported to Clanrye Connect.
8. Personal Information
Personal information provided through Clanrye Connect will be handled in accordance with our applicable privacy information and data-protection obligations.
Where an applicant is redirected to an employer’s website or sends information directly to an employer, that employer is responsible for its own handling of the applicant’s personal information.
9. External Websites
Job advertisements may contain links to external websites.
Clanrye Connect is not responsible for the content, security, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites.
10. Intellectual Property
Employers must have permission to use any company names, logos, photographs or other material uploaded as part of a vacancy.
By submitting such material, the employer gives Clanrye Connect permission to display it as reasonably necessary to advertise and promote the vacancy.
11. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep Clanrye Connect available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
Features may be changed, suspended or withdrawn where reasonably necessary.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
To the extent permitted by law, Clanrye Connect is not responsible for losses arising solely from dealings between employers and jobseekers, reliance on information supplied by third-party employers, or the content or availability of external websites.
13. Suspension or Removal
We may suspend an employer account or remove advertisements where these terms are breached, where suspicious activity is identified, or where doing so is reasonably necessary to protect Clanrye Connect or its users.
14. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The latest version published on Clanrye Connect will apply to future use of the service.
