May 23rd 2026 sees the launch of the much-anticipated second volume of our Channel The Dark anthology series, in association with the suicide prevention counseling service, SOSAD Ireland. The concept behind Channel The Dark is simple – to channel dark ideas into something productive and creative – and our contributors have certainly done so. Featuring a diverse collection of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror tales composed by our SFI Members in Part 1; and our Temple Dark Books authors in Part 2, this volume has something for everyone. Profits for Channel The Dark go directly to SOSAD Ireland; and as the project develops, we look forward to working with mental health services overseas.
Channel The Dark also features extracts from our most recent and upcoming novel releases, giving readers a taste of what our label has to offer and making it an all round intro to Temple Dark Books.
Just as we did at the launch of Volume 1 in May 2023, the launch for Volume 2 will see contributors (and special guests) speak about what their writing means to them in terms of maintaining positive mental health. Look out for the launch event and subsequent photos and videos via our newsletters and social media channels.
