Sinn Féin MLA Cathal Boylan has welcomed the Infrastructure Minister’s announcement that a further £2.5 million has been secured to repair our roads.
Speaking following the news, the member of the Infrastructure Committee said:
“This is a positive announcement for motorists and pedestrians alike, bringing the total investment secured since December 2025 to over £40 million.
“I commend the Infrastructure Minister for her steadfast commitment to doing all she can to repair our roads damaged by recent winter weather.
“This work has resulted in more capacity to spend money on our roads, reflecting the urgency of the situation.
“Sinn Féin is committed to ensuring our roads are safe and fit for purpose.”
