Buttercrane Install Sanitisers as Flu Epidemic Set to Peak Over Christmas

As the NHS grapples with unprecedented flu outbreak Buttercrane Centre have installed hand sanitisers throughout the mall.

With infection levels reportedly peaking over Christmas period, Buttercrane have installed hand sanitisers to support customers and local health services.

Centre Manager Peter Murray said: “The news reports of the rising infection levels and pressures on our local health care and hospitals is of concern to everyone – with over 670 people admitted to hospital with flu across Northern Ireland in December.

“We’ve also noted some customers wearing masks in recent weeks. In an effort to protect customers, we’ve taken the decision to reintroduce hand sanitisers across our mall zone.”

The NHS guidance cites hand hygiene as a critical element of breaking the cycle of infection. Buttercrane have added sanitizing stations in entrance and exit zone in the Centre.

“The message is really help protect our NHS and vulnerable customers. The hand sanitising stations will remain in mall throughout the winter period, “ Peter adds.
