B Section, Ardmore Local Policing team responded to a report of a theft in the area of Armagh Road, Newry. One suspect had been detained and one made off. The two suspects were believed to have been involved in four other incidents of theft locally.
Enter Police Dog Rhea who swifly located the outstanding suspect hiding in deep undergrowth! Both persons are currently in custody awaiting interview this morning. Their vehicle was also seized containing a large quantity of stolen items. The total value of all of the thefts was over seven hundred pounds!
