Sinn Féin Councilor Cathal King has written to the Council calling for floodlights to be installed at Meigh Playing Fields and the adjacent Walking Track.
“This upgrade is essential to make the facility fully accessible for local residents, supporting sport, physical activity, and safety,” said Councilor King.
“The newly installed pitch is a real community resource, and it must be accessible to everyone, day or evening.”
Councillor King continued:
“Sinn Féin will continue to push for these vital community improvements and ensure our facilities meet the needs of all residents. I will keep the community updated on progress and continue working to deliver these important upgrades.”
