Local MLA Aoife Finnegan has urged vigilance after vehicles were stolen in the Crossmaglen area in the early hours of this morning (Friday)
The south Armagh MLA said,
“It is extremely distressing to hear that thieves have once again targeted homes and vehicles stolen. Anyone who may have any information about last nights incidents should contact the police.
Her colleague Cllr Martin Hearty warned residents and homeowners to be extra careful.
The south Armagh Councillor said,
“With the extremely warm weather people tend to leave their windows open and this gives further opportunities to these gangs of thieves who target different areas. I would urge all to be vigilant and alert to suspicious activity”.
