More than just imposed mass starvation, innocents are being lured by the prospect of aid shipments and gunned down. Crowds are concentrated into pens to be fed. Aid is being weaponised but figuratively & literally.
Palestine activists across Armagh and beyond have arranged a march focused on complicity of our own & other western governments taking place on Saturday 7th of June, beginning in Lurgan and heading the whole way down to Omeath first along the Newry Canal towpath, then on the Greenway into Cooley. Previous plans for the march had it finish in Newry although the extra leg to Omeath has now been added.
Activists make the following demands:
– IMMEDIATE DIPLOMATIC AND ECONOMIC SANCTIONS ON THE ZIONIST STATE
– US WARPLANES OUT OF BELFAST & SHANNON
– INVEST NI TO STOP FUNDING COMPLICIT COMPANIES AND ARMS MANUFACTURERS
– ENACT BDS IN STATE PROCUREMENT PROCESSES
All are welcome to join the march, or even just part of it. The current march route, mostly along the towpath is as follows (with expected times). A private bus has been arranged to bring marchers back from Omeath to Newry after 10pm for any who need it.

IPSC Newry Chairperson Marc Mac Seáin comments: “Tens of thousands of infants experience acute starvation, imposed by intentional blockade. Worse than that they’re being penned up and in cases butchered when lured to receive the meagre supply the Zionists trickle into Gaza.
“It’s beyond time to reckon with the complicity of our own countries beyond rhetorical support. We in Ireland help as a minor partner facilitate the Zionist genocide in a variety of ways. We were the second biggest export market for Israel in 2024, a horrid statistic. The central bank also facilitates the sale of bloody Israeli war-bonds throughout Europe. Invest NI grants money to firms complicit militarily in the genocide, still. Britain’s Labour government has transferred more military equipment to Israel in the last 3 months than all the previous Tory aid over this genocidal ‘war’. Most glaringly of all, warplanes carry bombs & weapons through our airspace and pitstop in both Shannon & Aldergrove airports. We must sanction Israel immediately and stop the arms trade to them to start the chain of dominos to first end their genocide then dismantle their apartheid state much as how we lead in the struggle against South Africa.”
