Newry Funeral Directors Writes to Church About Cemetery Works

Pouchers Funeral Directors have written to Newry Cathedral Parish regarding ongoing works within St Mary’s Cemetery.

“We have been contacted by several families regarding the removal of water taps and the ongoing scaffolding works around the Altar in St Mary’s.

“Both are proving to be an accessibility issue for visitors and mourners alike, with many now unable to access water to tend to their loved one’s grave.

“Pouchers Funeral Directors have written to the Parish requesting an update on both issues and will continue to monitor any progress achieved.

“In the meantime, if you are facing difficulties in watering plants at, or accessing your loved one’s grave, we would be more than willing to tend to any grave on your behalf free of charge. As always, we can be contacted at any time on 028 302 67585”
