Talented local goalkeeper Miceal Browne has signed for FC Mindwell. The Millburn shot stopper has decided to showcase his impressive skills and professional attitude in the Mid Ulster intermediate league with one of the best upcoming teams.
Speaking from their social media FC Mindwell welcomed the signing:
“We’re thrilled to announce the signing of Miceal Browne as our new goalkeeper! A proven shot-stopper with a commanding presence in the box. Miceal is set to become a crucial part of our journey ahead.”
Miceal has had an impressive year so far following Carnbane League one and cup wins with Millburn and promotion to the Carnbane Premier Divison. Whilst plying his trade there Miceal impressed with an incredible stint in goal for Carrickcruppen as they reached the Armagh Championship final with Browne gaining critical acclaim across the board for his performances.
It is safe to say Cruppen could have a selection headache next season with Miceal Browne being effective competition to Armagh GAA goalkeeper Blaine Hughes.
