Detectives investigating recent burglaries at homes of older people in the Loanda Crescent and Ardgreen Drive areas of Newry have charged a man to court.
The 29-year-old who was arrested yesterday evening, Saturday 5th October, in the city has been charged with two counts of burglary with intent to steal.
He is due to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 7th October.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
