Southern Area Hospice are delighted to launch its annual ‘Make a Will Month’ scheme, taking place from 1st to 31st October 2024. Now in the second year, this initiative offers individuals the opportunity to write their wills at no charge, supported by local solicitors, in exchange for a donation to the Hospice. This campaign allows everyone the chance to have a basic will written or updated for free, thanks to the generosity of participating solicitors.
Elley Martin, Head of Regular Giving at Southern Area Hospice, commented, “We are delighted to be partnering with kind-hearted solicitors, enabling our supporters to write their wills for free in return for a donation to the Hospice. We would like to thank the incredible firms who have come on board and are generously waiving their fees.”
It is incredibly important to make a will – it gives you peace of mind that your family and friends will be protected, and that you can remember the people and causes that matter most to you. After ensuring that your family and loved ones are taken care of, we kindly ask that you consider supporting the Hospice through a gift in your will. There is no obligation, but your legacy will help us continue caring for patients and their families for generations to come.
Make your appointment with your local participating solicitor today.
