Terry Rooney’s Cottage Relaunch In Aid of PIPS Hope and Support

Rostrevor resident, Mr. Terry Rooney proudly announces the relaunch of his Irish cottage, showcasing artefacts from years gone by, after a devastating fire led to its rebuild. The community is warmly invited to join Terry, his family, and friends for a special event to mark the cottage’s reopening on Sunday, July 28th at noon in Kilbroney Valley, Rostrevor.

This event is not only a celebration of Terry’s craftsmanship and determination but also serves a noble cause. Terry has dedicated his efforts to raise awareness and funds for PIPS Hope and Support, a local suicide prevention and mental health charity.

Padraig Harte, the Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications Manager at PIPS Hope and Support, expressed his admiration for Terry’s relentless efforts: “We are delighted to see Terry have the opportunity to rebuild his cottage following the unfortunate fire. Terry has put in endless hours with remarkable determination to create a space for visitors to enjoy while emphasizing the importance of raising awareness and funds for our charity. We are forever indebted to Terry for his kindness, compassion, and continued support.”

Terry Rooney’s cottage is a testament to resilience and community spirit. The event promises a day filled with nostalgia, community bonding, and support for a critical cause.

Join us on Sunday, July 28th, to support Terry Rooney and PIPS Hope and Support. Your presence will make a significant difference in our mission to promote mental health and prevent suicide.
