Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team, investigating the murder of 74-year-old Michael McConville in the Annaghmare Road area of Crossmaglen on Saturday evening, 15th June, have charged a 67-year-old man with murder.
The man is expected to appear before Banbridge Magistrates Court sitting in Newry tomorrow, Thursday 20th June.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
