The Republican Party Saoradh have announced details of their 2024 Easter Commemoration in Newry.
Speaking from their social media the party have said:
“On Easter Saturday we will honour those that gave their lives for a Socialist Republic, for social and economic liberty.
We will honour Ireland’s patriot dead and rededicate ourselves to the ongoing Republican liberation struggle in a fitting and dignified fashion.”
“We will assemble at St Mary’s Church on Easter Saturday at 11.30am and we will then make our way to the Republican Plot to pay tribute to all those who have fought, died and assisted in the cause of Irish Freedom in every generation.”
