Sinn Féin councillor John Óg O’Kane has said that a solution must be found to the parking issues on the Dalton road in Armagh.
The Armagh City Councillor said:
“The Dalton road is one of the busiest roads in Armagh, but at school pick up times in particular it becomes extremely congested.
“This congestion is not only a concern for local residents but also for any emergency services who have had difficulty accessing the street in recent times.
“I have met with the principal of the CBS school to listen to his concerns about this issue and have now asked for DFI to meet with us on site to look at possible solutions to this issue.
“Improving road safety and quality is a priority for Sinn Féin and we will work to ensure our roads are kept as safe as possible for all.
