Sinn Féin councillor Mary O’Dowd has said it is deeply concerning that a man was seriously assaulted on Saturday evening in Lurgan.
Councillor O’Dowd said:
“A man was seriously assaulted in the Shankill area of Lurgan on Saturday evening in an attack which is deeply concerning.
“I would appeal for anyone who witnessed this attack or has any information in relation to this crime to come forward to the police.”
