Police are appealing for information following a report of an assault at the Scotch Street area of Downpatrick on Tuesday 6th June.
Sergeant Ritchie said: “Shortly before 11:20pm, it was reported that a male youth was assaulted and taken to hospital with a suspected broken jaw following the incident.
“Two male youths and one female were arrested and subsequently bailed to allow for further enquiries.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident and we would appeal to anyone with any information, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 2368 06/06/23. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
